To Whom It May Concern:
In 2010 Royal Air Force Lossiemouth requested the assistance of Scott Muir and his company to custom build a new climbing wall around our existing structure. From the outset Scott and his team showed unwavering enthusiasm for the project providing detailed plans and realistic and meticulous quotes securing the contract after a very competitive tendering process.
Scott and his team began work without delay ensuring that throughout the build, time deadlines were strictly adhered to. Inevitably during any building project unforeseen challenges will present themselves, Scott communicated any issues in a timely manner, always having thought through possible solutions in advance. Detailed progress reports were given regularly and without request, keeping us up to date throughout the project.
Scott managed the project with efficiency and conducted all building works with the upmost professionalism ensuring that the build came in on time and within budget. Consequently we have a climbing wall of the highest order. In summary they are a first class outfit, led by an exceptional character and I would have no hesitation in recommending Scott Muir and his company to future prospective employers.

CRAIG MACLEAN CLIMBING WALL
In 2009 as the secretary for the Strathspey Leisure & Recreational Trust, I instigated the project to construct a small climbing wall in the main sports hall of the Craig Maclean Leisure Centre. I contacted Scott Muir to establish feasibility, costs etc. From the outset Scott was extremely enthusiastic and provided a number of options covering a variety of costs and designs. Having raised additional funding we were able to develop a larger and more complex wall than initially envisaged. Scott and his team excelled in the design gaining maximum benefit from a limited space and overcoming the H & S limitations of a multi activity sports hall. As with many projects there were a number of unforeseen difficulties which presented Scott and his team with some major redesign and construction restraints. I was particularly impressed with the manner and speed with which the team overcame what were, potentially, project stopping problems.
Eighteen months on we now have a successful 24 route climbing wall which has been thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. The quality of workmanship, design and attention to detail has been of a very high standard. The after sales service and support offered by Scott exceeded anything offered by his competitors. I would highly recommend Scott Muir and his team.

Reference for Dreams Climbing Walls
During May 2010 Featherstone High School successfully applied for funding to build a climbing wall for school and community use. The funding required the school to gain three competitive quotes to design, construct and install a climbing wall and for these to be approved by the school’s Governing Body.
As part of this process the school approached Dreams to provide an initial design and quote. Dreams visited the site and went to great lengths to ensure the design met the exact requirements of the brief supplied by the school. This attention to detail combined with the quality of the design resulted in school Governors unanimously awarding the contract to Dreams.
The 10 day construction period was carefully scheduled to cause minimal disruption to the operating of the community sports centre. While on site all staff demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism both in the construction of the wall and their interactions with members of the sports centre. All aspects of the design and construction process were completed to the highest standard and within the agreed schedule of works.
After the construction of the wall Dreams provided equipment and training to ensure the safe and effective running of the wall. The detailed handover process and documentation provided essential information and guidance allowing staff at the school and sports centres to confidently operate and introduce climbing in line with industry regulations and standards.
Throughout the process Dreams have demonstrated exceptional customer service and a commitment to providing the very best climbing facility possible. The climbing wall at Featherstone has been in use since November 2010 and has received positive feedback from all members of the school and local community, including those with experience of using other indoor climbing walls.
I do not hesitate in recommending Dreams to any school or sports centre considering a climbing wall and would welcome the opportunity to provide further information in support of the company including a visit to our climbing wall.

DREAM CLIMBING HOLDS
“The feedback is really good on the holds we have had so far off you even to the point that when a route is set and people have done it they have asked when a new route with the holds will be set. We have set over 20 problems with them so far as people just want to be doing different moves on them. There seriously fun”
Sam Johnson – Revolution Climbing Centre
“I really like the holds; the shapes are so unusual and varied. I must have set about 20 different routes with them now in my own place. Having been setting for over 10 years I can usually visualise a problem, bolt the holds to the wall and then it climbs pretty much as I thought it would. With your holds however, I get frequent surprises as there are subtleties to almost every hold. The moves didn’t feel quite as I expected; some were harder, some easier. At one point I can remember pausing when a rock over felt harder than I anticipated. Whilst thinking, I just let an arm fall for a shake-out and quite by accident I found a delicate undercut edge I hadn’t noticed before. Job done.
Alan Jones – Home Wall
“The routes we have set have been extremely popular. The holds are definitely a range we want to buy from when we get our next batch of holds in!”
Neil McGeachy – Ratho
